These days, one so rarely hears of unsuccessful military inventions – but not on this website! The Allied Armies attempted to create two projectiles to do away with the nuisance of barbwire – the one posted herein, and the one linked below – none proved to be any more successful than the anti-barbed-wire glove pictured above.
