Attached is the 1948 review of Graham Greene’s novel, The Heart of the Matter, as it appeared in Pathfinder Magazine. This work is believed by many to be part of Greene’s “Catholic trilogy” that was numbered with Brighton Rock (1938) and The Power and the Glory (1940) – although the author shuddered at the thought that he could be labeled as a “Christian writer”.
