Posted on the right is the 1911 book review of the memoirs by Confederate Brigadier General Johnson Hagood (1829 – 1898) who fought many battles during the American Civil War; most notably Cold Harbor, the battles of Weldon Road, and Bentonville. At war’s end Hagood surrendered to General Sherman.
