Attached is a black and white photograph, profile and statistical information concerning the Vultee “Vengeance” A-31 Dive bomber -which was built in the United States by the Vultee Aircraft Corporation. The Vengeance was not used in combat by any US units, however it was put to use by the British and Commonwealth Air Forces in Southeast Asia as well as the Southwestern Pacific Theaters.


The Vengeance was originally built in the late 1930s and named the Vultee Model 72 (V-72). It first took to the air in 1939.
