In cruelty and terror, Ganzenmüller is matched only by his old friend and superior Heinrich Himmler (1900 – 1945), who laid down the rules for the deportation of ‘inferior races’. Ganzenmüller’s special contribution to these migrations was his invention of the railroad-car gas chamber to exterminate Jews.”
