A Husband's Stench...

• Atlanta Georgian, 1917 •

Attached is a story that appeared in a 1917 Georgian newspaper concerning a certain wife who, having suffered her husband’s stench long enough, had the police drag him away to stand before the local magistrate where, she had hoped, some swift, punitive measure would be delivered in order to placate not only herself, but also that of the long-suffering tax-payers of the county as well. The husband agreed to bathe.
