The Middlebrow Network
The Middlebrow Network is a project led by the University of Straclyde and Sheffield Hallam University that aims to stimulate research on the loaded and disreputable term 'middlebrow' and the areas of cultural production it purports to represent. Our network includes academics, archivists, independent scholars and editors, working in the disciplines of history, English and American literature, comparative literature, film studies, art history, book history and music. The website includes an extensive bibliography, links to useful websites, journals and archives, and a database of researchers. |
