The editors at The Stars and Stripes were dumbfounded to discover how thoroughly the big-shots of the Hitler Youth had been when it came to filling the craniums of their followers with blarney - they printed this Q & A that they had conducted with one of the recently captured 17 year-olds:
Q. The U.S. has many kinds of people: Czechs, Poles, Negroes, Democrats, Jews [What will become of them?]
A. After the war, it will be otherwise in the United States.
Q. There won't be those people anymore?
A. They will disappear.
