40's Feminism

Writer Amaran Scheinfeld (1900 - 1979) muses aloud about a brand of feminism that is, as of this writing, gone with the wind. The journalist starts the attached article anticipating the fact that the doomed "Equal Rights Amendment" (you can read an article about that here) was soon to be sent back into committee because

"- some of our best legal minds can't agree on exactly what is meant by 'equality of rights under the law for both sexes'"
