Pictured above is Haj Amin Al-Husseini as he appeared in London while serving as the representative of the Palestine Arab Delegation in 1946. Nine years earlier he was a wanted man for his roll in leading a riot in British Palestine:
"The ex-Mufti fled Palestine in 1937, when about to be arrested for his part in Arab anti-British disturbances, in which a British District Commissioner had been assassinated."
