Vague News of the Titanic Sinking

These three short notices were among some of the very first British magazine reports on the Titanic sinking. The Spectator editors rejected, even as a possibility, the fact that the great ship had broken in half; they also rejected a number of other observations made by the surviving eyewitnesses.
